A little goes a long way in Tanzania. For example:
• $20 (£12) - Feeds one child for one month
• $50 (£28) - Provides medical care for one child for one year
• $150 (£83) - Pays complete primary school fees (tuition, fees, uniform, school lunch, etc.) for one child

What are the different options for me to help?

There are four primary ways to help the Veda's kids:
Make a one-time donation, or a contribution in the name of a friend as a birthday or holiday gift.
Because it is a small, grassroots charity, every donation to Veda's kids makes a difference - your specific donation might provide a table for children to eat on, or send a child to school for a year, or pay for first-aid supplies. For an idea of how your donation could be spent, you can have a look on The Kids Budget, If you donate to Veda's kids, you are free either to specify which need or program you would like your contribution to be used towards, or to leave it to the Vedas staff to choose the most urgent need. Either way you will be informed specifically how your donation was used in a personal thank-you letter. If you contribute in the name of a loved one, Vedas will send a thank-you to that person along with a drawing by one of the children.

Veda’s ability to provide quality, reliable support to the homeless children who turn to us for hope is dependent upon our financial stability. You can allow us to better plan for the expansion of programs and services by becoming a Helping Hand and partnering with Veda’s to give on a monthly basis. Connect your business, school, church, or other club's charitable giving to Vedas Kids Veda's Center is a great cause for fundraisers, and tax-deductible organizational donations in some countries. . Volunteer at Veda's Center .  Volunteers make an invaluable contribution to the lives of the Veda's kids. Current needs for volunteers include: computer skills (database creation and management, website development, spreadsheets, networks, etc.), fund-raising and publicity, health-care and health education, organizational development, and social work training.
